Kar’s Nuts is part of a family of snack brands operating in Madison Heights, Michigan. In 2017, the company underwent a rebrand with the help of Retail Voodoo, a design and marketing firm based in Seattle. I was tasked with implementing and troubleshooting the new brand across the board including packaging, advertising, and social media.
A lot of the troubleshooting came down to ensuring that the new package designs adhered to FDA regulations such as nutrition labels, advertised ingredients, and dietary call-outs. I worked closely with the marketing team to develop e-commerce creative and expand the brand’s standards for new products.
